WittyKeys Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using WittyKeys, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Service Description
WittyKeys is an Android AI keyboard that provides smart replies, Scan, tone changes, grammar correction, translation, AI Chat, and an optional overlay assistant.
Free users receive 20 AI credits/day. Active Plus subscribers see Unlimited in the app through the Google Play Billing subscription flow. You can use core keyboard features anonymously; sign-in is only required for subscription and account management.
3. User Responsibilities
- Do not use WittyKeys for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
- Do not use AI-generated replies to create spam, harassment, deception, or unlawful content.
- Review AI suggestions before sending them, especially in sensitive, financial, legal, medical, or professional conversations.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the app or its backend services.
4. AI-Generated Content
AI suggestions are drafts. You are responsible for deciding what to send. AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and WittyKeys does not guarantee that any generated text is correct for your situation.
5. Third-Party Services
- Firebase by Google supports authentication, Cloud Functions, analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics.
- Anthropic Claude AI powers smart replies, screenshot analysis, and AI Chat.
- Google Play Billing processes subscriptions and purchases.
These services are governed by their own terms and may affect availability or functionality.
6. Privacy
Your use of WittyKeys is governed by the Privacy Policy, including disclosures for Notification Access, Accessibility, MediaProjection screen capture, Firebase, Claude AI, analytics, voice typing, billing, and daily usage tracking.
7. Intellectual Property
WittyKeys and its original components belong to the developer. WittyKeys is built on AOSP LatinIME, which is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app.
8. Disclaimer
WittyKeys is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect compatibility, or error-free AI output.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of WittyKeys, AI-generated suggestions, service interruptions, or actions taken based on generated content.
10. Termination
You may stop using WittyKeys at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated or if use harms users, the service, or third parties.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts in India.
